Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Parlow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Tinto!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parlow connects with a right hand. Tinto shakes it off.
Tinto throws a jab but it's blocked by Parlow.
Parlow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Parlow lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Parlow throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tinto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Parlow.
Parlow connects with a body shot that sends Tinto's belly button to the back.
Parlow lands a jab-cross combination.
Parlow dips to his left and cracks Tinto with an uppercut!
Parlow checks a leg kick.
Tinto tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Parlow is able to avoid easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parlow avoids the body shot from Tinto.
Parlow displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tinto throws out the jab.
Tinto shoots for a double leg takedown but Parlow sprawls well. He's pushed Tinto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A counter left hand to the body from Parlow misses its target.
Parlow scores with a sloppy right hand. Tinto should have avoided that one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tinto closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The crowd cheers as Parlow lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tinto doesn't seem phased though.

Tinto takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tinto takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Tinto wants to land a leg kick but Parlow is out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tinto has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Parlow connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tinto. Tinto circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tinto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Parlow.
Parlow swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tinto misses with a takedown attempt - Parlow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Parlow throws a big shot that misses.
Parlow jabs at Tinto's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tinto on the wrong end of a nice hook.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lazy left from Parlow finds it's target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Parlow, as that shot connected.
Parlow stuns Tinto with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Tinto looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Parlow lands the left hand.
Parlow is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Parlow getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Parlow, as that shot connected.


It looks like Daniel Tinto has been cut.
Jon Parlow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tinto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parlow tries to avoid it but Tinto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parlow to the ground. Parlow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jon Parlow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Tinto.
Parlow looks to score with a jab to the body but Tinto is just out of range.
Parlow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tinto circles away quickly and effectively.
Tinto feints the counter takedown.
Parlow dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A shot to the liver by Parlow. Beautiful body shot.
Parlow is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Tinto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Parlow moves into the clinch.
Parlow lands on the inside with an uppercut.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Parlow.
Tinto is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Parlow lands with a light punch inside.
Tinto misses with a short punch on the inside.
Tinto fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A nice left hand lands by Parlow.
Parlow lands a shoulder strike.
Parlow makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Parlow softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.


Tinto is rocked!
Parlow working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Tinto is still on wobbly legs! Can Parlow finish him?

Parlow manages to break the clinch.
Tinto takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Parlow with a jab.
Parlow walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Tinto drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Parlow swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Tinto's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Parlow!
