Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Piana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skip Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordon has chosen Long Hard Times to Come as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rich Piana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Skip Gordon!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piana uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gordon.
Piana takes a swing at Gordon's ribcage but misses.
Gordon takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Gordon swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Piana.
Gordon looks for the body kick but Piana saw that one coming.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Piana, as that shot connected.

It looks like Skip Gordon has been cut.
Gordon misses with a kick to the body
and Piana cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Piana misses with a straight right.
Piana takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gordon moves away from the strike by Piana.
Gordon throws out a loose jab but Piana uses good head movement to avoid it.
A big left from Gordon misses.
Piana misses with a hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Piana avoids the head kick by Gordon.

Piana drops Gordon with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gordon looks back up at him and smiles so Piana waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Gordon is rocked!
The crowd cheers as Gordon lands an impressive looking overhand right. Piana doesn't seem phased though.
Gordon throws a body kick that misses

and Piana counters with a nice right hand that sends Gordon toppling to the canvas! Gordon scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Piana finish him?!
Gordon is still on wobbly legs! Can Piana finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Piana avoids a kick to the body.
Gordon doesn't manage to clinch there - Piana circles away.
Gordon seems to have recovered his senses.
Piana avoids the head kick by Gordon.
Piana swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Gordon lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gordon connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
An inside leg kick from Gordon misses.
Gordon avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice body punch from Piana.
Piana throws the left hand but Gordon avoids the punch easily.
Piana lands a really nice looking cross but Gordon seems unphased.
Gordon moves out of range as Piana strikes.
Gordon throws a body kick that misses
and Piana counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Gordon looks winded!
Piana throws a good cross that connects.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gordon misses with a leg kick
and Piana counters with a big right hand! Oh Gordon is in trouble here! Piana follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
