PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaime Bowden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Machio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ralph Machio told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bowden closes the distance and pushes Machio back into the cage.
Bowden definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bowden tries to throw a body punch but Machio avoids it by throwing Bowden back against the cage.
Machio avoids the elbow strike from Bowden, against the cage.
Bowden pushes off an throws an elbow but Machio leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Machio has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bowden can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
