Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boss Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Strong avoids it really well and circles away.

Boxer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Boxer throws a strike but Strong avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boxer is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Strong has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Boxer is looking to defend but Strong has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Boxer! Strong pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Boxer taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Lance Strong!
