The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White throws a looping overhand right but Velli ducks down to avoid it.
White throws the left hand but Velli avoids the punch easily.
White throws a right hand that misses
and Velli counters with a stiff right hand.
Velli circles away from the clinch attempt
and Velli counters with a nice uppercut.
Velli connects with a right hand. White shakes it off.
White misses with an uppercut
and Velli counters with a right hand to the body.
Velli jabs at White's body.
White tries to clinch there but Velli circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Velli scores with a decent looking hook.
White throws a right hand that misses
and Velli counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Velli avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
White throws a leg kick but Velli sees it coming and moves out of range.
Velli connects with a body shot.

White tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Velli is able to avoid easily.
Velli connects with a crisp jab.
White misses with an uppercut
and Velli cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

White is rocked!
White walks straight into a right hand from Velli - that's dropped him! Velli jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save White from any more punishment! White complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
