Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Stevanikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Orange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Stevanikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Orange!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orange throws a head kick but Stevanikov moves out of range.
Orange is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Stevanikov fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Orange fails with the takedown.
Orange misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stevanikov throws a head kick but Orange moves out of range.
Orange misses with a wild body shot.

Stevanikov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Orange tries to improve position but can't.

Stevanikov decides to stand back up.
Orange throws a shot to the body.

Orange shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Orange showed some decent athleticism there.

Stevanikov makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Stevanikov is breathing heavily.

Orange takes the fight into the clinch.
Our sources have told us that Stevanikov has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Stevanikov keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Orange's efforts to push away.
Orange wants to get back to striking at distance but Stevanikov won't allow it.
Orange wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Stevanikov can't get the takedown.
Orange wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stevanikov has him pressed against the cage.
Orange is trying to force a seperation but Stevanikov has the dominant position.
Orange has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Stevanikov after a bit of a struggle.

Orange is trying to trip Stevanikov. He has hold of a leg but Stevanikov is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Orange persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Stevanikov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Stevanikov wants to stand but Orange is controlling the position.

Stevanikov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Orange works over Stevanikov with some ground and pound from guard.
Orange has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stevanikov is proving hard to escape from.

Orange drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Orange jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Orange manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stevanikov on his heels. He'll look to pass Stevanikov's guard now, I'm sure.
Stevanikov wants to control but Orange passes easily into half guard.

Orange is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Orange is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Orange thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Orange moves into full mount! Stevanikov won't be happy about that!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Orange dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Orange throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Orange pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
As Orange looks to move away, Stevanikov throws a big counter combo but Orange just gets out of the way.
Orange goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Ivan Stevanikov has been cut.
Ivan Stevanikov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Orange throws a body kick that misses.
Orange dives in and grabs Stevanikov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stevanikov pushes down on Orange's head and hops out.
Orange fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stevanikov avoids it really well and circles away.
Stevanikov tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Orange manages to circle out of the way.
Orange wants to clinch up but Stevanikov keeps it at a distance.
Ivan Stevanikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Stevanikov.

Stevanikov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Orange slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Orange manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stevanikov manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Orange stands and steps away. Stevanikov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Orange lands a nice shot to the body.

Orange closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stevanikov quickly recovers to half guard.
Stevanikov is trying to escape back to his feet but Orange uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Orange tries for a kimura but Stevanikov is defending well.

Orange is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stevanikov has escaped the position, nice work there.

Orange controls the position.
Orange taking a break here but Stevanikov is having none of it and regains half guard.
Orange is taking a breather. Stevanikov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Orange trying to control from half guard but Stevanikov is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Orange is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stevanikov sees it coming and defends easily.
Stevanikov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Orange on the ground.
Stevanikov is staying active underneath Orange, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Orange is working for a kimura but Stevanikov is defending it quite comfortably.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Orange showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!



Orange shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Orange working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Orange is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stevanikov has managed to free his arm - good work.

Orange is looking for a kimura but Stevanikov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Orange to get the leverage.
Orange working over Stevanikov with some ground and pound. Stevanikov looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Orange slaps away a takedown attempt from Stevanikov, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Orange has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Orange drives through and clinches with Stevanikov against the cage.
Stevanikov jumps guard but Orange turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Orange is trying to force a seperation but Stevanikov has the dominant position.
Orange lands an elbow inside that Stevanikov shrugs off.

Orange manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Stevanikov trying to control but Orange is working from the bottom.
Orange seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Orange looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Stevanikov is defending well. Orange quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Stevanikov has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Orange celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mr Orange!
