Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Studs displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Studs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Studs will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Despite the aggression on Smith's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Smith slips under a jab.
Studs swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Studs misses with a low kick as Smith jumps back.
Studs lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith misses with a hook. Studs ducked under it nicely.
Studs throwing a counter right hand but Smith manages to avoid it.

Studs throws a low kick but it's checked well by Smith.

Smith cracks Studs with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Studs looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Smith finish him?

Studs is rocked!
Smith finds Studs's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Studs flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Smith lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Studs will be OK.

A less than humble Daryl Smith misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
