Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeke Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patton comes to the cage accompanied by Keep your hands to yourself- Georgia Satellites. Rivers has chosen War by Hed Pe as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zeke Rivers!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Rivers clinches up with Patton and pushes him back against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Rivers lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A hook to the body from Patton.
Rivers is trying to drag Patton to the mat but Patton just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Patton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Patton moves into range and clinches up with Rivers.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patton pushes Rivers back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Rivers misses with a knee strike.

Patton manages to break the clinch.
Patton tries to bum rush Rivers with a series of wild strikes but Rivers uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rivers is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Patton moves into range and clinches up with Rivers.
Patton lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Rivers has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Patton throws a head punch that misses.

Patton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rivers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Patton scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Patton closes the distance and clinches.
Patton lands a body shot.

Patton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rivers.
Rivers takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Patton darts in and clinches Rivers up against the cage.
Rivers working hard to break the clinch.
Patton working aggressively here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Patton can't find room to land a body shot as Rivers controls the action.

Patton manages to break the clinch.
Patton slaps away a takedown attempt from Rivers, before circling back to the center of the mat.
George Patton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zeke Rivers.
Rivers misses with a head kick.
It looked like Patton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Rivers throws a sloppy head kick and Patton moves out of range easily.
Patton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rivers manages to avoid it.

Oooooh!!! Patton has knocked Rivers down with a huge combo! Patton steps away and waves a wobbly Rivers back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Rivers is rocked!

It looks like Zeke Rivers has been cut.
Rivers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rivers is still on wobbly legs! Can Patton finish him?
Patton throws an uppercut from hell that sends Rivers clean off his feet! He's out cold! Patton stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
