Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bob Lazar!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lazar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Delaney tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lazar is in Delaney's guard.
Lazar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Delaney has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Lazar is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Lazar can't break the clinch.
Delaney prevents a body shot from Lazar.
Delaney decides to pull guard.
Delaney wants to stand and escape but Lazar is having none of it.
Lazar stands and steps away. Delaney gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Delaney stuffs the takedown.
Delaney blocks a head kick by Lazar.
Delaney was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Lazar throws a head kick that misses.
Lazar has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Delaney.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Delaney has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Delaney throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Delaney misses with a body shot.
Delaney moves into range and connects with a jab.
Delaney shoots for a double leg takedown but Lazar sprawls well. He's pushed Delaney's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lazar with the counter takedown but Delaney avoids it easily.
Delaney tries for a takedown but Lazar circles away easily
enabling Lazar to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mick Delaney. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Delaney misses with a body shot.
Delaney takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A big left from Delaney misses.
A little jabbing left from Lazar on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lazar punishes Delaney's body with a nice straight punch.
Delaney shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lazar counters with a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Delaney takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Delaney swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Lazar counters with a stiff right hand.
Delaney has been working on his balance at Cozad MMA New York, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Lazar.
Lazar is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lazar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Delaney throws a right hand that Lazar ducks under and follows up with a left that Lazar also avoids with ease.
Lazar takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Delaney shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lazar counters with a nice body shot.
Delaney is breathing heavily.
Lazar looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Delaney lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Delaney misses with a leg kick
and Lazar counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Delaney!
You can see the frustration on Delaney's face as Lazar controls the position.
Lazar is working Delaney over with some ground and pound from side control.

A big shot lands for Lazar! That's hurt Delaney! Will he recover? Lazar fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
