And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricky Steamboat!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

El Sonbaty fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Steamboat to the ground. El Sonbaty is now in Steamboat's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

El Sonbaty got a little sloppy there for a moment and Steamboat has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, El Sonbaty has managed to get both his arms back between Steamboat's legs - danger averted.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. El Sonbaty connects with a nice short shot to Steamboat's temple.

Steamboat is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but El Sonbaty pulls his head out easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

El Sonbaty is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

After winning the bout, Nasser El Sonbaty thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Ricky Steamboat stepped up to the mic, saying 'Good win to for my opponent will be back'.
