And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Benito Acero!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acero blocks a head kick by Abbott.
Acero doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Abbott drops Acero with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Acero looks back up at him and smiles so Abbott waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Acero is rocked!

It looks like Benito Acero has been cut.
Acero drops his hands for a split second and Abbott immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Acero face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Abbott follows up with a right hand that knocks Acero into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
