Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Master Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Culver Crimson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Culver Crimson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Master Wong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Culver Crimson!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Crimson misses.
Wong lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Wong stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Crimson.
Crimson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wong looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jab by Crimson.
Wong shoots in looking for a takedown. Crimson tries to sprawl out of it but Wong keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crimson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Crimson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good leg kick by Crimson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Crimson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wong half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Crimson lands a high kick!
A punch combination from Crimson misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A combination from Crimson does no damage.
Wong on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Crimson. Crimson obviously looking to wear him down.

and Wong counters with a single leg into guard. Crimson didn't expect that.

Wong postures up in Crimson's guard and throws a big left but Crimson blocks it.
Wong working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Wong passes Crimson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Crimson is looking to escape.
Wong throwing shots but Crimson is blocking nicely.
Wong drops an elbow to the side of Crimson's head.
Wong not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Wong looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Wong not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Wong prevents Crimson from standing back up.
Wong winds up and cracks Crimson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Wong throwing shots but Crimson is blocking nicely.
Wong thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Crimson's head.
Wong misses with a head shot. Crimson uses the momentum to regain guard.
Wong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Crimson is keeping the position for now.

Crimson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wong landing some decent shots from guard.
Crimson is looking to stand up but Wong isn't so interested in that idea.
Wong in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Wong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Crimson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wong postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wong works over Crimson with some ground and pound from guard.
Crimson is looking to stand up but Wong isn't so interested in that idea.

Wong throws a big right hand that misses.

Wong is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Wong scoring with punches to the head and body.
Wong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crimson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wong throws an elbow that misses. Crimson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wong's guard. Nice move by Crimson!

Wong wants to sweep but no luck.
Wong is trying to control the position but Crimson postures up.
Crimson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Crimson wants to stand but Wong is controlling his posture from full guard.

Wong wants to hit a switch here but Crimson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Wong there!
Wong is looking to improve his position but Crimson isn't that keen on the idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Master Wong will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Wong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crimson pinned against the cage. Crimson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Crimson tries a head kick but it misses.
Crimson misses with a few strikes there.
Wong appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Crimson. Wong does a little dance to reset his feet.
Crimson misses with the combination.
Crimson connects with a right hand. Wong shakes it off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crimson tries to land a front kick but Wong steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Culver Crimson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Crimson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Crimson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Crimson tries to clinch but Wong is having none of it.
Crimson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wong is looking to counter punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crimson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.


Wong is rocked!
Wong is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Crimson doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Wong crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Wong's bad books for that mishap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Culver Crimson!
Culver Crimson seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
