Smith comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N Roses kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Smith shoots in for a double leg but Torton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Torton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smith closes this distance looking for a takedown but Torton circles away.

Torton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Smith manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Torton has Smith in his guard.
Torton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
