Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunther Gunnerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clarence Van Gaal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Clarence Van Gaal was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunnerson misses with a looping right.
Van Gaal swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Gunnerson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Van Gaal momentarily.
Van Gaal loads up on a big right hand but Gunnerson slips the punch.
Van Gaal listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Gunnerson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gunnerson . Van Gaal does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Van Gaal counters by clinching up.
Van Gaal lands a right hand.
Oh Gunnerson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head punch on the inside from Van Gaal fails to land.
Gunnerson seems to have got his legs back now.

Gunnerson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Van Gaal lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gunnerson backwards.
Gunnerson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gunther Gunnerson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunnerson throws a shot from downtown. Van Gaal moves away and avoids it.
Van Gaal now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Gunnerson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Van Gaal back to the cage. Gunnerson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Gunnerson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Van Gaal.
Gunnerson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gunnerson .

Gunnerson gets tackled into the cage by Van Gaal. Van Gaal maintains the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Van Gaal scores with a nice short uppercut.
Van Gaal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gunnerson throws a series of punches but Van Gaal moves out of range.
Gunnerson backing away here, and Van Gaal unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Van Gaal looks to land a right hand but Gunnerson moved out of range.

Van Gaal scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gunnerson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Van Gaal counter with a right hand.
Gunnerson throws a leg kick
and Van Gaal counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Van Gaal misses with an uppercut. Gunnerson saw that one coming.
Van Gaal drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Gunnerson right on the button. Gunnerson goes down! Van Gaal follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Van Gaal gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clarence Van Gaal!
