Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ross throws a series of punches but Fire avoids them all with ease.
A left and a right from Ross both land. Nice combination.


It looks like John Fire has been cut.

Fire fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ross to the ground. Fire is now in Ross's guard.
Ross is wriggling around but Fire manages to pass to half guard.


Fire is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fire. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fire is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ross defends it well.

and Ross counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ross is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fire gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ross.
Fire takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ross shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Fire eats them both and turns towards Ross to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
John Fire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ross connects with a body shot that sends Fire's belly button to the back.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ross, as that shot connected.
Ross's corner calls for a 1-2. Ross obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ross clobbers Fire with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ross is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fire had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Ross feints a jab promting Fire to slip. Ross then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fire slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fire fails to land the takedown.
Ross keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A punch lands to the side of Fire 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fire takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Ross swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Oh Fire is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ross connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Fire to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Ross!
