The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson rushes Vivas and presses him up against the ropes.

Jackson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Vivas lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Vivas has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jackson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Vivas is working for takedown but Jackson is calmly controlling the position for now.

Vivas has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jackson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Jackson has Vivas pressed up against the ropes in a tight Thai clinch. Vivas is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Jackson - that's hurt Vivas badly! Oh, another knee lands and Vivas is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Vivas doesn't seem to be complaining.
