Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Los Nakovos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlo Standfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marlo Standfield is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Standfield with that takedown attempt.
Nakovos throws a leg kick

and Standfield counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Standfield stops Nakovos from standing up.
Nakovos really is a fat lump.

Standfield thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Standfield has gone for a leg lock! Nakovos slips out almost immediately though and dives into Standfield's guard.

Standfield has his foot on Nakovos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nakovos works his way back into a safe position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nakovos wants to stand but Standfield has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Standfield looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Nakovos passes into half guard.

Nakovos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Standfield on the ground.

Standfield looking for submissions off his back.
Standfield has a hand on Nakovos's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Nakovos takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Standfield is trying desperately to improve position.
Nakovos wants to get back to his feet but Standfield is holding on tight.
Standfield sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Standfield slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Standfield looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nakovos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Standfield looking for a guillotine here but Nakovos defends easily.

Nakovos wants to stand up but Standfield has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Standfield makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Standfield.

Standfield is looking for a triangle but Nakovos pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Standfield looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Nakovos is defending well. Standfield quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Nakovos has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Standfield celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
