The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sagat takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jones wants to clinch up but Sagat keeps it at a distance.
Sagat lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jones tries to clinch up.
Sagat jabs Jones right on the nose. Jones blinks but takes it well.
Jones tries to clinch but Sagat is having none of it.

Jones rushes Sagat and presses him up against the cage.
Sagat lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Sagat.
Sagat presses Jones against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Jones takes a shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones tries to land a knee to the head but Sagat blocks with his arms.
Jones blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Sagat lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Sagat lands a hook to the side of the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Sagat.
Jones prevents a body shot from Sagat.
Sagat scores with a hook to the body.
A right hook to the body lands for Sagat.
Jones looks winded!

Sagat makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Sagat scores with a nice short uppercut.

Jones is rocked!
Sagat stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Sagat finish him?
A head punch on the inside from Sagat fails to land.
Sagat lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Jones to his knees! Sagat keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
