Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Cotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Stefan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stefan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Onward to Victory. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Stefan.
Stefan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cotto.
Cotto lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stefan throws the kick towards the body but Cotto avoids it.
Cotto appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Stefan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stefan misses with a combination
and Cotto connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stefan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Cotto definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Cotto lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Cotto with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Stefan to score with a decent uppercut.
Cotto lunges at Stefan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Stefan's hand.
Cotto takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looked like Cotto wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Stefan sizes up Cotto with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Cotto throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stefan on the side of the head.
Stefan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
A jab from Cotto finds it's way through Stefan's defenses.
Stefan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stefan staying out of range there.
Cotto scores with a shot to the body.
Cotto lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Stefan looks to land a left hand but Cotto moved out of range nicely.
Cotto thuds his right hand into Stefan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Stefan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That kick from Cotto tenderised Stefan's leg. Stefan is trying to keep his angry face on.

Cotto pounces like a tiger and cracks Stefan with a vicious hook! Stefan is down but not out! Cotto follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A less than humble Miguel Cotto misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
