Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Koski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koski comes to the cage accompanied by Accept - Head Over Heels. Juan Koski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Juan Koski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Brown!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a shot from downtown. Koski moves away and avoids it.
Juan Koski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown slips a straight right by Koski.

Koski takes the fight into the clinch.
Koski misses with a punch to the body.
Brown scores with a nice hook to the head.
Brown tries a body shot but Koski blocks it.
A short right from Koski on the inside.
Brown wants to take the fight to the mat but Koski manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Brown lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Koski or not.
Koski scores with a nice hook to the head.
Still in the clinch, Brown scores with a nice short uppercut.
Brown tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brown wants to take a breather but Koski is having none of it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brown connects with a nice short shot to Koski's temple.
Koski is looking to improve his position.
Koski tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Brown has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Koski is squirming around, avoiding Brown's attempts to control the action.
Koski is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Koski sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown seems to be looking for submissions.
Koski wants to get back to full guard but Brown has passed into side control.
Koski parries the strikes from Brown easily there. Brown is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Koski to escape.

Brown has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Koski manages to get back to half guard.
Koski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Brown is trying to control the action in half guard but Koski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Koski has a hand on Brown's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Brown takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Koski can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Koski tries to reverse the position but Brown maintains control.
Brown landing strikes from the mount and Koski is in trouble!
Koski has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Brown's lack of action.
Koski wants to sweep but Brown has passed to side control!

That's time! Koski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

No joy there for Koski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Koski throws a looping overhand right but Brown ducks down to avoid it.
Brown connects with a jab.
Brown digs a good hook to Koski's body.

It looks like Juan Koski has been cut.
Brown shoots in but Koski avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Koski misses with an uppercut. Brown saw that one coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brown. Koski does a little dance to reset his feet.

Koski seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Koski circles away from the clinch attempt.

Brown ducks under a wild hook from Koski.
Brown needs to keep his hands up - Koski had a free shot at his head there.
Brown throws a series of strikes that have Koski backpedaling.
Brown dives in for a single leg takedown but Koski sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A quick step to the side and Koski tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Koski dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Brown takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Brown throws a hook to the side of Koski's head but Koski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Koski appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Brown bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Koski counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Koski lands with an uppercut that bounces Brown off the cage and back into range.
Brown tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Koski does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Brown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Koski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Koski is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Koski is trying to control Brown's posture but Brown avoids it.

Koski can't do much from the bottom here.

Brown drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Koski has an active guard here but Brown has managed to pass into half guard.

I would just about give that final round to Daniel Brown.
