Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ion fails with a takedown attempt.
Ion walks into a jab.

Ion throwing strikes from guard but Youngblood blocks nicely.
Ion not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Youngblood moves into range and connects with a jab.
Youngblood paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Youngblood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ion moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ion drives through and clinches with Youngblood against the cage.

Ion manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Ion has control of Youngblood's left arm, preventing Youngblood from doing any damage.

Youngblood looking to improve position, pressing down on Ion's thigh with his hand. Ion seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Youngblood paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Youngblood's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Ion picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
