Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanton Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Claude LeBlanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe's entrance music is The Builders & The Butchers - Bringing Home The Rain. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying LeBlanc's choice of entrance music: Professor Green ft. Maverick Sabre - Jungle. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stanton Crowe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Claude LeBlanc!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Crowe blocks the leg kick.
Crowe throws a body punch but LeBlanc moves out of range.
LeBlanc throws out a loose jab but Crowe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Crowe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
LeBlanc throws a body punch but Crowe moves out of range.
Crowe changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
A looping hook to the body misses from Crowe. LeBlanc does a little dance to reset his feet.
LeBlanc only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Crowe seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Crowe thuds a left hand into LeBlanc's body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crowe scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Crowe working the body and head with strikes.
LeBlanc tries to buck Crowe off but Crowe is having none of it.
Crowe remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

LeBlanc is pushing Crowe's head away, looking to escape. Crowe manages to hold on to the position though.
Crowe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
LeBlanc is looking to regain half guard here but Crowe keeps moving and retains side control.
LeBlanc takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
LeBlanc takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Crowe lands an elbow.
Crowe throwing strikes but LeBlanc manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

LeBlanc wants to lay and pray for a moment but Crowe keeps working.
Crowe holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Crowe dodges the ground and pound from LeBlanc.

LeBlanc postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
LeBlanc trying to control the position but Crowe is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crowe is looking to reverse the position.

Crowe is trying to control LeBlanc's posture but LeBlanc avoids it.
Crowe is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
LeBlanc wants to lay and pray for a moment but Crowe keeps working.
Crowe tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Crowe gets back to half guard.
LeBlanc wants to pass the guard but Crowe is defending well.
LeBlanc is keen to just control but Crowe is a slippery customer.
Crowe is positioning himself well to prevent LeBlanc advancing to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Crowe wants to control but LeBlanc is keeping busy.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
LeBlanc scores with a decent looking hook.


It looks like Stanton Crowe has been cut.
LeBlanc takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts LeBlanc, as that shot connected.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
LeBlanc stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Crowe.
Crowe throws a chopping leg kick but LeBlanc manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Stanton Crowe will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Crowe tries to land a front kick but LeBlanc steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Crowe, right into the meat.
Crowe on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
LeBlanc misses the shot to the body.

LeBlanc feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Crowe sprawling to the canvas! Crowe rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can LeBlanc finish him?!


Crowe is rocked!
Crowe misses with a hook to the body
and LeBlanc counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Oh Crowe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
LeBlanc fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Crowe out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Claude LeBlanc!
A very excited looking Claude LeBlanc made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
