Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rostislav Kosaryov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lei Zhang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhang comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Denzel Curry - Ultimate kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rostislav Kosaryov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lei Zhang!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kosaryov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Zhang looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Zhang connects with a solid leg kick.
Kosaryov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kosaryov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Zhang.
Zhang misses with a leg kick.
Zhang chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kosaryov throws a leg kick but Zhang checks it.
Zhang delivers a nice body kick.
Kosaryov throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kosaryov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zhang counters with a good low kick that Kosaryov was not able to check.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kosaryov has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Zhang.
Zhang feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kosaryov's calf.

Zhang flicks out a counter leg kick but Kosaryov steps away.

Zhang throws a push kick but Kosaryov slaps the foot to one side.

and Zhang counters with an outside leg kick.
Zhang ducks under a wild hook from Kosaryov.
A thudding body kick lands there by Zhang!
Zhang with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Zhang goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Rostislav Kosaryov has been cut.
Zhang throws a push kick but Kosaryov slaps the foot to one side.
Zhang closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kosaryov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kosaryov avoids the head kick by Zhang.
Zhang misses with a kick to the body
and Kosaryov counters with a stiff right hand.
Zhang keeps Kosaryov at a distance using the push kick.

Zhang wants to clinch up but Kosaryov keeps it at a distance.
A slapping body kick lands there for Zhang.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kosaryov takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kosaryov lands a nice shot that snaps Zhang's head back.

and Zhang counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Zhang connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Zhang lands with a thumping leg kick.
Zhang feints and then cracks Kosaryov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kosaryov down.
Zhang throws a front kick that sends Kosaryov stumbling back into the cage.
Zhang lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kosaryov takes a step back to recover.

A lazy body kick from Zhang
and Zhang takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jab by Kosaryov.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kosaryov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Zhang - the referee stops the clock and Kosaryov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Zhang. Kosaryov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kosaryov is breathing heavily.
Good leg kick by Zhang there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kosaryov misses with a wild body shot.
Zhang lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kosaryov tests Zhang's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Zhang throws a leg kick which misses Kosaryov's front leg but catches the back leg as Kosaryov tries to avoid it.
Kosaryov connects with a single shot there.
Kosaryov takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A slapping body kick lands there for Zhang.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zhang lands a leg kick that knocks Kosaryov off balance momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kosaryov swings for the body but Zhang moves out of range.
Kosaryov tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Zhang lands a big head kick that sends Kosaryov tumbling to the mat! Zhang takes a step backwards and waves Kosaryov back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kosaryov is rocked!
Zhang connects with an inside leg kick.
Oh Kosaryov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zhang lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Kosaryov crumples to the floor! Zhang milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Lei Zhang!
Lei Zhang bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
