Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Reynolds has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alex Reynolds!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tony Duncan!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Duncan swivels and escapes.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duncan works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Duncan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reynolds pinned against the cage. Reynolds gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Duncan shoots in looking for a takedown. Reynolds tries to sprawl out of it but Duncan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reynolds manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Reynolds throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Duncan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Reynolds defends well and Duncan ends up having to push Reynolds into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Duncan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reynolds doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reynolds manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Duncan wants to stand up but Reynolds is controlling him.

Duncan has his foot on Reynolds's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reynolds works his way back into a safe position though.
Duncan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reynolds's guard.

Duncan looking to sit in guard and control but Reynolds gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Duncan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Reynolds sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Duncan's guard.

Reynolds seems to be working for a kimura but Duncan defends the submission attempt.
Duncan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Duncan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Reynolds pulls his head out easily.

Reynolds is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Duncan is just riding it out for now. Reynolds eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Reynolds throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

I think Duncan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
