The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calavar misses with a straight right.
Martinez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Calavar tries to avoid it but Martinez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Calavar to the ground. Calavar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Calavar displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Anderson Martinez has been cut.
Martinez closes the distance and clinches up with Calavar, looking for a takedown. Martinez pushes Calavar against the cage but Calavar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Calavar lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Martinez at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Calavar keeps the fight on the outside.
Calavar throws a lazy right hand but Martinez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Martinez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Calavar's waist but Calavar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Martinez off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Martinez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Martinez is breathing heavily.
A combination from Calavar does no damage.
Calavar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Martinez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice combo by Calavar! Oh, that's hurt him - Martinez falls to the canvas and Calavar follows him into side control.

Martinez dodges the punch combination from Calavar.
Martinez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Calavar lands a nice shot to the body.
Johnny Calavar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Calavar closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Martinez out cold! Martinez corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
