The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mika moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Jesse McGulloch has been cut.

McGulloch has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McGulloch scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like Vaclav Mika has been cut.
Mika looks to land a combination but McGulloch avoids it well.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from McGulloch! But no joy.
A telegraphed right hand from McGulloch misses the target.
Mika swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McGulloch looks like he wants to counter punch here.
McGulloch lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Mika changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
McGulloch misses with a head kick.

and Mika counters with a straight right hand.

Mika is breathing heavily.

McGulloch lands a big head kick that sends Mika tumbling to the mat! McGulloch takes a step backwards and waves Mika back to his feet - he wants the finish!
and McGulloch counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Mika! He's just covering up as McGulloch starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
