And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Ron Honeybunn and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Anton sprawls well initially but Slater persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Anton looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Slater is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Anton is staying active underneath Slater, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Slater landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Slater wants to work for an arm triangle but Anton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Slater is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anton is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anton has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Slater. Oh but Anton has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Slater goes limp - he's gone! Anton jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
