PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between jiu jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sir Lancelot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lancelot comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Headstrong kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sir Lancelot will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Lancelot.
jitsu throws a series of punches but Lancelot avoids them all with ease.
Lancelot misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lancelot moves out of range as jitsu strikes.
Lancelot misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lancelot tries to close the distance and clinch up but jitsu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
jitsu fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lancelot checks it well.
Lancelot takes a body punch but keeps moving.
jitsu misses with a series of wild punches.
jitsu swings and misses with a hook to the body.

jitsu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. jitsu showed some decent athleticism there.
jitsu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lancelot with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lancelot pushes jitsu off looking to stand but jitsu dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
jitsu lands with a punch from half guard.
jitsu working over Lancelot with some ground and pound. Lancelot looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
jitsu works his way into side control.
Lancelot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with jitsu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

It looks like Sir Lancelot has been cut.

Check out the look on jitsu's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Lancelot takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

That has opened up Sir Lancelot's cut even more.

jitsu has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lancelot is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. jitsu yanks on the arm and Lancelot is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by jitsu.
