Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maria Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremiah Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeremiah Walker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Walker catches Freeman right on the button with a cross.
Walker fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Freeman is out of range.
Walker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Freeman throws the left hand but Walker avoids the punch easily.
Walker misses with a wild combination.
It looked like Freeman was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Freeman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Walker circles away quickly and effectively.

Walker has closed the distance and engaged Freeman in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walker tries to pull guard but Freeman forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Walker has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Freeman regains guard immediately.

Walker darts in looking for a takedown but Freeman gets double underhooks and turns Walker into the cage.

Freeman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walker's waist but Walker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Freeman off to one side.
Walker misses with an uppercut. Freeman saw that one coming.
Freeman slips under a jab from Walker.
Freeman throws a half hearted mid kick.
Walker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Freeman.
Freeman moves out of range as Walker strikes.
Walker closes the distance and clinches up with Freeman, looking for a takedown. Walker pushes Freeman against the cage but Freeman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Freeman has hold of one of Walker's legs. Walker is fighting the takedown attempt but Freeman gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Freeman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walker wants to free his trapped foot but Freeman is holding on for dear life with his legs.

That's time! Freeman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Freeman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Walker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Freeman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
