The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gommers clinches up with Georges and pushes him back against the cage.
Gommers gets underhooks to prevent Georges's takedown attempt.

Georges has Gommers pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Georges pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Gommers tumbling to the mat - Georges dives into Gommers's guard.

Georges gets to his feet - Gommers follows without any prompting.

Gommers gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gommers tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Georges's elbow.
