Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hung Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Hector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hector has chosen Damn You to Hell as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hung Kerr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dean Hector!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerr wants to clinch up but Hector keeps it at a distance.
Kerr tries to clinch but Hector is having none of it.
Kerr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hector circles away quickly and effectively.

Hector gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kerr is trying to maintain a safe position but Hector gets an underhook and turns Kerr into the cage.
The referee calls for Kerr to work.

Kerr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hector clinches up with Kerr and pushes him back against the cage.
Hector goes for a takedown attempt but Kerr pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hector changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kerr tries to avoid it but Hector manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kerr to the ground. Kerr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hector swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Kerr counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hector is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kerr dives into side control.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hector parries the strikes from Kerr easily there. Kerr is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hector to escape.

Kerr stands up and beckons Hector to his feet.
Kerr throws a right and a left that Hector avoids nicely.
Hector throws a nice looking combination but Kerr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kerr could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hector avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Hector. No joy for Kerr on that attempt.
Hector is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Kerr tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hector manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hector tries to bum rush Kerr with a series of wild strikes but Kerr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hector throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kerr tries to counter with a takedown but Hector is quick to defend against it.

Dean Hector seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hector throws a series of punches but Kerr moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kerr is defended easily by Hector.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hung Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hector looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hector rushes Kerr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hector has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hector is trying to force a seperation but Kerr has the dominant position.

Kerr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hector works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Hector really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kerr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kerr has his feet on Hector's thighs here. He's pushed Hector off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Hector screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
