Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kaipoi Kina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samwell Lance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kina might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Boys Are Back. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Kina or perhaps it was just good defense by Lance, which made it look bad.
Lance avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lance looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Lance connects with a jab.
Kina moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lance has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kina wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kina breaks the clinch.
Lance moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Kina takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lance throws a nice looking combination but Kina bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kina has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kina there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kina is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lance keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lance looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kina takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lance sends Kina crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lance is motioning to the referee to let Kina up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kina is rocked!
Lance clinches.
Oh Kina is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kina's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Lance lands a hook that snaps the head of Kina backwards.
Kina is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lance is defending well for now.
Kina seems to have got his legs back now.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Lance.
Kina misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lance.
Kina tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kina takes a shot to the head.
Lance working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Lance lands a shoulder strike.
Lance drops Kina onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Kina is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lance lands a body punch.
Lance lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kina backwards.

Lance breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kina misses with a wild body shot.

Lance uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kina.
A little jabbing left from Lance on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lance swats away the attempt to clinch by Kina.
Lance cracks Kina with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kina looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lance finish him?
Lance avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kina walks into a straight right hand from Lance.
Lance scores with a hook to the body. Kina takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kina is breathing heavily.
Lance works Kina's body with a nice hook.
Kina shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lance pinned against the cage. Lance gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lance drops Kina with a naaaaasty hook - Kina is in real trouble here! Lance dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samwell Lance!
Kaipoi Kina was interviewed post fight and said 'This isn't how I wanted my professional career to start, but the sun will rise tomorrow and I'll be back in the gym. '.
