The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sanford's guard.
Black distracts Sanford with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Black has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Black is fighting to break Sanford's control of his arms but Sanford is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Sanford knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Black on the ground.

and Sanford counters with a nice leg kick.

Sanford has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Alan Sanford has been cut.

Black dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Sanford has had enough and taps out.
