Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Tsukerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Tsukerman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Max Adams!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tsukerman drops Adams with a beautiful combination! Adams stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tsukerman is looking for the KO!
Adams stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Adams wants it to stay on the feet.

Adams gets a double leg takedown into Tsukerman's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tsukerman is looking to stand up but Adams isn't so interested in that idea.
Adams wants to control from the top but Tsukerman keeps moving.

Tsukerman is looking for a triangle but Adams pushes his legs off easily.

Tsukerman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Adams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Adams manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Adams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Adams wants to control from the top but Tsukerman keeps moving.
Adams must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Tsukerman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Adams can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Adams stays in close to Tsukerman's body and controls the position.

Adams stands up from Tsukerman's guard - Adams perhaps looking for a knockout.
Adams works over Tsukerman's head and body with a nice combination.
Alexander Tsukerman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tsukerman gets caught flat footed, as Adams shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Tsukerman is breathing heavily.

Adams drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tsukerman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Adams has Tsukerman in his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams is adopting a defensive guard.

Tsukerman stopping the sweep attempt from Adams.
Tsukerman wants to stand but Adams has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Adams scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Adams clinches.
Adams has had enough of the clinch but Tsukerman keeps him there for the moment.
Tsukerman is trying to break the clinch but Adams is controlling him.

Adams lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Tsukerman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Adams closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Adams is looking to take a break and control but Tsukerman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Adams works to advance to full mount. Tsukerman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Adams seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Tsukerman is holding on tight.
Tsukerman is looking to improve his position but Adams isn't that keen on the idea.

Adams looking to secure an arm triangle but Tsukerman defends it well.

Adams wants to take his opponent's back but Tsukerman doesn't allow it.

Adams seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Tsukerman is holding on tight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Adams trying to control but Tsukerman is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Adams has hold of Tsukerman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tsukerman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Tsukerman misses with a double jab

and Adams counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Tsukerman!

Adams decides to stand back up. Adams steps back and let's Tsukerman get back to his feet.

Tsukerman jumps guard but Adams turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tsukerman tries to clinch there but Adams circles away.

Adams shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Adams keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tsukerman's head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Adams gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Tsukerman looks to land a combination but Adams avoids it well.
Adams tries a head kick but it misses.
Tsukerman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Adams.
Adams with the counter takedown but Tsukerman avoids it easily.
Tsukerman tries to clinch but Adams is having none of it.

Adams fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tsukerman sprawls well initially but Adams persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Tsukerman is refusing to be controlled, as Adams sits in half guard.

Adams wants to work for an arm triangle but Tsukerman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Adams lands a nice short elbow.

Tsukerman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Adams pulls his head out easily.

Adams is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tsukerman sees it coming and defends easily.

Adams is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Adams has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Adams is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tsukerman defends it well.

Adams takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Adams seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Adams has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Max Adams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Tsukerman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Tsukerman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Adams as he jumps to the side.
Tsukerman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Adams's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tsukerman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Adams scrambles back to his feet.
Adams checks the leg kick.
Adams avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adams avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Adams misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tsukerman's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Tsukerman duly obliges.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Adams turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Adams manages to end up in side control.

Adams has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Tsukerman!
Tsukerman is desperately trying to improve his position but Adams has a good base and remains in mount.

Adams jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tsukerman is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tsukerman and Adams has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Tsukerman wants to get back to his feet.
Adams tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Adams prevents Tsukerman from escaping the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Adams is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tsukerman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Adams working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Adams wants to control but Tsukerman is keeping him busy.

Adams working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Tsukerman takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexander Tsukerman.
I think Adams has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
