Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Franky Fire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, William Oberhauser!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fire wants to clinch up but Oberhauser keeps it at a distance.
Oberhauser with the counter takedown but Fire avoids it easily.
Fire closes the distance but Oberhauser moves to the side

and Oberhauser counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Fire!
Oberhauser looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Fire is avoiding damage well.

Oberhauser tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Fire wants to get back to his feet but Oberhauser drags him back down.

Oberhauser in side control lands a decent elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fire is trying to buck Oberhauser off.

Oberhauser controls the position.
Oberhauser moves into full mount!
Fire really wants to buck Oberhauser off and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oberhauser takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fire is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Fire defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Oberhauser.

Oberhauser with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Oberhauser landing strikes from the mount.

Oberhauser working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Oberhauser has hold of Fire's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fire manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Oberhauser is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Fire is forced to tap! Great finish!
