Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Broderick Rasmussen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lonnie Kain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lonnie Kain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kain throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Rasmussen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Rasmussen chips away with some ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rasmussen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Rasmussen stands and steps away. Kain gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Rasmussen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Rasmussen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kain bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rasmussen's head backwards.

Rasmussen instigates a clinch.

Kain tightens his grip and picks Rasmussen up, before dumping him to the ground. Rasmussen manages to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kain working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rasmussen's head.

It looks like Broderick Rasmussen has been cut.
Kain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rasmussen has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Rasmussen has momentary wrist control but Kain slips an elbow through the middle.

Rasmussen is rocked!
Kain with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Oh Rasmussen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kain decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kain measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Rasmussen! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
