Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demetrius Farmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josei Mulq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josei Mulq will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mulq fails with a takedown attempt.
Mulq looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Farmer appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Mulq fails to land the takedown.
Demetrius Farmer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josei Mulq.
Mulq lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mulq.

It looks like Demetrius Farmer has been cut.
Farmer tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mulq defends well and Farmer ends up having to push Mulq into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Mulq pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Farmer back to the cage. Mulq follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Farmer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Farmer counters with a thumping low kick.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Farmer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that Demetrius Farmer will probably get the nod.

Mulq closes the distance and clinches up with Farmer, looking for a takedown. Mulq pushes Farmer against the cage but Farmer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mulq wants to clinch up but Farmer keeps it at a distance.

Mulq forces Farmer back against the cage and clinches.
Farmer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mulq walks away with a smile on his face. Farmer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Farmer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mulq sprawls well initially but Farmer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Farmer decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Mulq has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Farmer is working away from the top position though.

Farmer slaps away a takedown attempt from Mulq, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Josei Mulq seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mulq seems a little lost for a moment, as Farmer dominates the positioning.
Farmer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mulq for as long as he can get away with.

Farmer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Demetrius Farmer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Farmer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
