The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore throws an off balance right hand
and The Sponge counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by The Sponge.
Moore wants to sweep but no luck.
The Sponge lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Moore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Sponge. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The Sponge drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and The Sponge jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The Sponge thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moore is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The Sponge working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moore had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. The Sponge defends it easily.
The Sponge tries to free his leg and advance position but Moore is retaining full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells The Sponge's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The Sponge throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moore works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Moore looking for submissions from the bottom but instead The Sponge passes into half guard.
The Sponge winds up and cracks Moore with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The Sponge maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Moore could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but The Sponge has cracked it and Moore is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by The Sponge!

A relieved looking Robert The Sponge thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
