Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bartkos Michalos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Von Kormrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michalos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kormrok paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Kormrok. No joy for Michalos on that attempt.

Michalos moves into the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Michalos.

Kormrok breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Michalos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kormrok.
Michalos tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kormrok manages to circle out of the way.

Kormrok throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Michalos stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kormrok darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Michalos shoots for a double leg takedown but Kormrok sprawls well. He's pushed Michalos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kormrok changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bartkos Michalos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Michalos gets caught napping as Kormrok dives in and scores a takedown. Michalos manages to retain guard.

Michalos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kormrok swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kormrok stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kormrok wants it to stay on the feet.
No joy there for Michalos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kormrok comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bartkos Michalos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Michalos is breathing heavily.
Kormrok cracks Michalos with an open hand slap.
Kormrok fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Michalos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kormrok lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kormrok fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Michalos square on the jaw! Damn, Michalos is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
