The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Barbosa.
Barbosa tries a head kick but it misses.

Bowman drives through with a takedown into guard.
Barbosa wants to stand up but Bowman is controlling him.

Bowman stands up from Barbosa's guard - Bowman perhaps looking for a knockout.
Barbosa connects with a high kick.
Barbosa misses with a head kick.
Barbosa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barbosa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Bowman gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Barbosa looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bowman has Barbosa pressed against the cage, preventing Barbosa from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Bowman manages to break the clinch.

Bowman gets a takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bowman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Barbosa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bowman on the ground.

Look low, kick high! Barbosa uses the oldest trick in the book to send Bowman tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Barbosa is absolutely delighted - when Bowman wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
