Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Braga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabriel Dias is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gabriel Dias!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dias clinches with his opponent.
Dias managing to block the knees to the body from Braga.

Dias pulls Braga into guard.

Dias escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Braga gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Braga wants to control from the top but Dias keeps moving.

Dias has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Braga can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Braga is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Dias not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Dias is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Braga is aware though and is defending well.

Dias dives in and grabs Braga's left leg, looking for a takedown. Braga pushes down on Dias's head and hops out.
Dias looks for a takedown but Braga sprawls well.
Braga was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Dias closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Dias - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Gabriel Dias showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
