Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jok Holliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holliday has chosen Hear Me Now - Hollywood Undead as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson dodges the punch combination from Holliday.
Johnson throws a quick counter head kick but Holliday was just out of range.
Holliday shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Holliday keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Holliday throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Holliday is in Johnson's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holliday has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Johnson is proving hard to escape from.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holliday throws a big right hand that misses.
Holliday is working Johnson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

It looks like Jacques Johnson has been cut.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Holliday wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position.
Holliday throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Johnson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Holliday wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Johnson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Holliday.
Johnson throws a counter high kick but Holliday was just alert enough to avoid it.
Johnson avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
As Holliday backs away, Johnson returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Holliday listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Holliday throws out a leg kick but Johnson moves out of range and Holliday only half commits.
Holliday dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Johnson clinches up against the cage.
Johnson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Holliday is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Johnson can't fight it off and eventually Holliday manages to take the fight to the floor. Johnson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Holliday throws an elbow that misses. Johnson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Holliday's guard. Nice move by Johnson!

Holliday is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him.

Johnson wants to control from the top but Holliday keeps moving.

Johnson wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Holliday's closed guard. He's half up but Holliday has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Holliday pivots and extends the arm, Johnson falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Holliday! Well done that man!

Jok Holliday decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
