The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Halloway manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Debil on his heels. He'll look to pass Debil's guard now, I'm sure.

Halloway pushes down on Debil's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Halloway slips a nice elbow through Debil's hands, connecting with Debil's forehead.
Debil is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Halloway's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Halloway's back!

Halloway defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Debil's arms.
Will Debil go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Debil looking to break Halloway's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Halloway remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Debil will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

A relieved looking Der Debil thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
