Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lonje Moco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve The Smiling Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Smiling Assassin has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Lonje Moco has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Smiling Assassin works Moco's body with a nice hook.
Moco looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
The Smiling Assassin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Moco stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The Smiling Assassin throws out a powerful jab.
The Smiling Assassin has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Moco is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from The Smiling Assassin, right into the meat.
The Smiling Assassin throws a sloppy head kick and Moco moves out of range easily.
The Smiling Assassin circles away from the clinch attempt
and The Smiling Assassin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Moco enables The Smiling Assassin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Moco manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Moco is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Moco's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
The Smiling Assassin lands a left hand that snaps the head of Moco backwards.

The Smiling Assassin gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Lonje Moco has been cut.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, The Smiling Assassin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The Smiling Assassin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Moco backwards.

The Smiling Assassin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The Smiling Assassin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Moco drops his hands for a split second and The Smiling Assassin immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Moco face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. The Smiling Assassin follows up with a right hand that knocks Moco into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

After the fight, Steve The Smiling Assassin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
