The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Livingston gets caught flat footed, as Trill shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Livingston is looking to stand up but Trill isn't so interested in that idea.

Livingston is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Trill is aware though and is defending well.
Trill not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Trill stands and steps away. Livingston gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Livingston throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Livingston tries to pull guard but Trill forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Livingston fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Trill sprawls well initially but Livingston persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Trill is looking for a sweep. Livingston is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Trill is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Livingston has latched onto it... Big trouble! Livingston pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Trill is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Livingston!
