Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lain Rikkoja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lars Enqvist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rikkoja might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Soil Breaking me down. Lain Rikkoja has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Enqvist will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Enqvist just misses with a punch to the body.
Enqvist uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rikkoja.

Enqvist misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Enqvist is landing with some decent strikes but Rikkoja is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Enqvist takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Despite being in the dominant position, Lars Enqvist just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rikkoja rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Enqvist moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Rikkoja lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Enqvist circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Enqvist throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Rikkoja stumbling backwards into the cage! Rikkoja bounces back off the cage towards Enqvist, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Enqvist lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Enqvist celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
