Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Shinnie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dynamite Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pope has chosen ACDC - TNT as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinnie misses with a hook.
Shinnie sets himself, and Pope steps forward looking for the clinch! Shinnie avoids it this time.
Pope has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Shinnie misses with a looping right.
Pope moves out of range as Shinnie strikes.
Pope moves out of range of the strikes.
Shinnie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shinnie sets himself, and Pope steps forward looking for the clinch! Shinnie avoids it this time.
Shinnie misses with a lunging right hand

and Pope counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pope.
Shinnie wants to get back to striking at distance but Pope won't allow it.
Shinnie definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shinnie wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Shinnie prevents a body shot from Pope.
Shinnie lands a body punch in the clinch.

Pope has hold of one of Shinnie's legs. Shinnie is fighting the takedown attempt but Pope gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Pope throws a big elbow that misses.
Pope controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Pope has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Shinnie throws the left hand but Pope avoids the punch easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pope shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shinnie as he avoids it easily.
Kevin Shinnie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pope on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Shinnie scores with a shot to the body.
Pope looks winded!

It looks like Dynamite Pope has been cut.

Shinnie sends Pope crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Shinnie is motioning to the referee to let Pope up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Pope is rocked!
Pope drops his hands momentarily. Shinnie doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Pope staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Pope doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
