Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miro Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jyrki Kasvi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jyrki Kasvi enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Miro Bang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jyrki Kasvi!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasvi misses with a leg kick

and Bang decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kasvi's guard.
Bang wants to pass the guard but Kasvi is keeping the position.
Kasvi controls Bang momentarily but Bang frees himself.
Bang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kasvi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kasvi lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Kasvi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bang looking for a guillotine here but Kasvi defends easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bang is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kasvi stands up over Bang, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Bang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kasvi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Bang appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bang looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Bang goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kasvi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bang but great work by Kasvi.

Kasvi working over Bang with some ground and pound. Bang looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Bang makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bang.

Bang has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kasvi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bang.
Bang tries to buck Kasvi off but Kasvi is having none of it.
Bang is working hard here to advance position.
Kasvi lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Bang tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kasvi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kasvi is looking to take a break and control but Bang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kasvi is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Kasvi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bang keeps working.
Bang is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kasvi's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Bang has hold of Kasvi's hands but Kasvi slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Bang wants to get back to full guard.

Bang actively working from the bottom here.
Bang is looking to improve his position.

Miro Bang overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kasvi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bang to see if he's OK.


Bang is rocked!

Kasvi remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Oh Bang is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kasvi cracks Bang with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Kasvi immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Bang is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Kasvi!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jyrki Kasvi!
A very excited looking Jyrki Kasvi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
