Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Oddweek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Oddweek could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Junior Silva's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Oddweek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Junior Silva!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt.
Oddweek is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Silva throws a body shot but no joy.
Oddweek goes for a double leg but Silva avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silva continues to drive forward.
Silva gets a clinch.
Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oddweek shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Oddweek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Silva duly obliges.
Oddweek tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oddweek throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.
Oddweek drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Silva keeping moving, preventing Oddweek from controlling successfully.
Silva wants to sweep but no luck.
Oddweek advances position into side control!
Silva is trying to improve his position.
Oddweek tries to move into full mount but can't pass Silva's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Silva tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Oddweek drags him back down.
Oddweek sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Silva is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Silva tries to improve position but can't.
Oddweek thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Oddweek working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Oddweek tries to stand but Silva is controlling his head.
Oddweek in side control, throwing shots but Silva defends.
Oddweek wants to stand but Silva has his arm trapped.
Oddweek controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Oddweek has hold of Silva's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Silva tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Oddweek cranks the arm and Silva screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Silva, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
