PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flatbush Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jazz Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jazz Wade!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade closes the distance and clinches up with Diaz, looking for a takedown. Wade pushes Diaz against the cage but Diaz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Wade looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wade shoots in looking for a takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl out of it but Wade keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Diaz was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Flatbush Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jazz Wade.
Wade shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

It looks like Jazz Wade has been cut.
Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wade moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wade has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Wade is rocked!
Diaz is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Wade hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
